How Do I Recycle

Any material that conforms to the specifications of our household blue box recycling program can be recycled from the IC&I sector.

Options:

• If you are located on an existing curbside Blue Box collection route limited quantities of materials (3 blue boxes per week) can be picked up at no charge. (No curbside OCC, old corrugated cardboard, service)
• Drop off depot at the recycling plant: 270 West St. in Trenton. This depot can handle smaller volumes. Dept is open Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Larger quantities of recyclable materials may have a tipping fee or rebate depending on the current market value of the material tipped - contact Quinte Waste Solutions at 394-6266 for current terms.
• Large Bin service by Quinte Waste Solutions. For material volumes exceeding curbside collection limits, or for more convenience or aesthetic reasons, Quinte Waste Solutions offers a large bin service using the same bins as apartment buildings (95 gallon carts with wheels and lids). Call Quinte Waste Solutions at 394-6266 for prices and rebates on specific materials. Weekly, bi-weekly and “on-call” service is available.

• Contract with a private hauler for haulage and/or disposal services.
