Bird Feeder

This is a neat and easy way to make a bird feeder out of a plastic bottle. We use an Orange juice bottle, but any kind will do. Don't be afraid to get creative!

  • Wash out plastic bottle.
  • Ask a teacher or parent to cut holes for the feed hole, and string hole. We tape the plastic edges to make the landing a little more comfortable for the birds.
  • Start gluing twigs or branches to cover the entire bottle. We used cedar branches, but feel free to use anything you want.
  • Fill bird feeder with seed until it reaches the opening.
  • Hang on your favourite tree, and enjoy!
