Natural Resources Saved!

Our service area is huge! We collect recycling from over 60,000 households from Bancroft to Picton! So naturally we're keeping a lot of waste out of landfill and saving natural resources from being used to make new products. The following list is an example of how much natural resources we have saved to date.

Number of trees that have been saved by recycling paper and paper products:

2,602,155 which is equal to 3,771.24 acres of forest!

Number of kWh saved:

1,117,863,227 which is equal to 107075.02 kWh of energy for Quinte residents.

Barrels of OIl saved by recycling:

658,341.12 which is equal to 104,676,238.60 litres
